Their season so far
Not a great start from Garry Monk’s men – with two draws and a defeat from their opening three games and a Carabao Cup loss to Reading, They did play well in Friday’s goalless draw at home to Swansea though, somehow not taking one of their multiple chances to win the game.
Recent record at our place
Very good, Birmingham have won on their last three visits to Bolton and due to their survival-clinching equaliser in 2014 are unbeaten in four. Last season saw them beat us 1-0 in a relegation six-pointer just after Christmas.
One to watch
Probably one of our former players – Lukas Jutkiewicz. He scored the only goal of the game at the Macron in April, and while he is yet to score this term, he has provided an aerial option for Birmingham, playing every league game and has an assist to his name.
