Ben Alnwick has bagged the coveted (okay, maybe not) Vital Bolton Player of the Month award for February, and he has done so by a landslide.
The goalkeeper bagged 80% of the votes in the usual poll of Vital users, Sammy Ameobi took 12% to finish second, Mark Beevers came third, while David Wheater had to settle for last place.
Alnwick has put in some sterling efforts in recent weeks, which helped Wanderers bag eight points in six games. He takes the award from Gary Madine, who had been winning these for fun, but obviously won`t be winning any more.
