Another Break with the Past

As predicted on Vital Bolton, Stelios and Ivan Campo have been released by the Wanderers. Both were key members of the squad that Sam Allardyce led to four consecutive top eight finishes.

Stelios was the best in the box goal poacher seen at the club in recent years and whilst not figuring much this season, he still scored crucial goals against Spurs and Derby that ultimately kept Bolton in the Premier League.

Ivan Campo will be remembered fondly for years. The curly haired Spaniard made the midfield holding role his own and when on song was one of the most accomplished passers of the ball around.

Also released are Andranik, Mark Ellis, Leslie Thompson and Johann Smith.
