Bolton lost yet another another game as Brentford ran out 3-1 winners at Griffin Park.

Some Wanderers players were managing to get in the fans’ bad books before the game, with Liam Trotter and David Wheater pictured giving the finger on arrival at the ground.

On the pitch, Nico Yennaris opened the scoring after 16 minutes with a finish from close range, turning in a rather messy shot from Ryan Woods.

Danish international Lasse Vibe then scored two goals in the space of around ten minutes, the first after Niall Maher cleared his cross initially but Vibe reacted quicker before making a mockery of the Bolton defence.

The second came from a header by the Dane, after a decent cross from the excellent Alan Judge.

Bolton were better in the second half, but it doesn’t really help if you’re already 3-0 down. Anyhow, Alan McCormack fouled Kaiyne Woolery and it did mean Zach Clough could step up and convert the penalty to score his first senior goal away from the Macron.

Bolton will be relegated when they lose to Derby County on Saturday.
