Saying the game is a must win is a bit over dramatic, but with the sides just above the relegation zone having difficult games, three points will be more than useful.
‘I am not happy with the position in the league. If I said otherwise, a lot of people would be jumping up and down.’
A lot of people are jumping up and down anyway, especially those on the Bolton News website. Shurrup Sammy, eh?
Darren Moore may return from injury and Giles Barnes is expected to play some part, as is Ex-Bolton thug Andy Todd.
The match may turn into a hoof-a-thon. Miller got on the end of a long punt to despatch Newcastle United and could do the same again if Bolton’s defence goes into the now familiar switch off mode.
Jlloyd Samuel is still injured (yee-hoo!) but Ivan Campo is expected to recover from his broken groin.
The most under-rated player in the Premiership. Diouf and Anelka may be spectacular, but it’s the solid skills and endeavour of Davies that Bolton need at the moment.
Bolton have a poor record against Derby. The last time the two teams played, Derby won 3-1 at the Reebok in a game that seemed to signal the end of Bolton in the Premiership. As it was, Derby were relegated.
Rob Styles. Utter tosser, and that’s being charitable.
Chelsea (H)
Arsenal (A)
Piece of piss.
