1) You`ve started the season in slightly disappointing fashion (albeit nowhere near as badly as us!) what do you think of your performances so far this season?

Our performances this season have been in one word frustrating.

There have been plenty of promising spells within games, particularly against Norwich, Leeds, Sheffield Wednesday … The list goes on. Defensive mistakes have allowed teams to get back into games against us and swing momentum their way.

We lack a calming influence in central midfield to hold procession when we’re under pressure and a solid centre back partnership.

2) You survived relegation dramatically against us at the Reebok. How important was survival to the club?

I think survival was very important for the fans. We have watched a decline without a fight, which is possibly the worst kind of decline.

Watching so many talented players leave on the cheap and the team turn into a group of disinterested loanees created distaste with the faithful.

Financially it was vital to remain in the Championship, the club is entirely surviving off its own revenue and a League One income may have pushed the club into administration.

3) A few new players have joined you over the Summer. Who has been your best signings?

Our standout player has been David Cotterill. He has been a revelation on the wing. His ball delivery and direct style of play always creates us chances. In recent weeks he has scored a few as well – great signing.

Defensively, David Edgar looks quality and has put in some assured performances for us. Once Grant Hall is fit we could have a decent partnership there.

4) Who do you consider to be your biggest threat?

Our biggest threats are Donaldson and Thomas, both capable finishers up front and we seem to get one of the score sheet often enough.

5) Who do you consider to be our biggest threat?

I won’t pretend to be an expert on your side but I am aware you have Jermaine Beckford within your ranks.

His Leeds form proves that he has the talent to be a deadly player for a championship side. Hopefully not on Saturday, though.

6) Neil Lennon has been appointed as our new manager- what do you think of his managerial ability?

Lennon seems to be a grounded and realistic guy, traits that usually serve a manager quite well at this level.

I don’t take a Celtic record as a right to succeed in England but we took Mcleish from Rangers and Scotland and he provided us with a league cup and an 18 game premier league unbeaten run.

7) Finally, what are your predictions for the match?

The balance of our team in our past two fixtures had really seemed to hit a high note and I am expecting that to continue.

We’re a dangerous team this year with power and pace, your defence will need a Lennon makeover to convince me any different.

I respect your club and your new boss, but for now I’m going for a 2-1 home win.
