Gary Megson`s £3 million bid for midfielder Jimmy Bullard has been rejected by Fulham. The player has two years to run on his contract at Craven Cottage, but attempts to extend that deal have been rebuffed, leading to clubs being alerted of his possible availability.
It has been a frustrating few weeks for Megson as he has attempted to bolster his midfield. An offer for Reading`s James Harper was also turned down.
