Bolton have made a £3 million bid for Fulham`s Jimmy Bullard. The midfielder, formerly of Wigan and West Ham has two years left on his contract at Craven Cottage, but was recently rebuffed in attempts to negotiate an extension. Everton were also thought to be interested, but have now ruled themselves out of the running.

Bullard has made only a handful of appearances for Fulham, due to a serious knee injury, but was one of the key players at the end of last season as the club avoided relegation.
