Bolton Bottle It Against Brewers

Bolton are back in the relegation zone after managing to lose their must-win game at home to Burton Albion.

The Brewers are becoming some sort of bogey team now, with us losing both games we`ve ever played against them now, and Lloyd Dyer`s first half goal proved to be the difference. Wanderers had a lot more control of the game than they usually have this season, but by and large were unable to do anything incisive going forward.
David Wheater came the closest to getting an equaliser for Bolton, but his header didn`t completely cross the line, as shown by goal-line technology.

It might be that it`s one bad result, we somehow then go and manage to beat Cardiff next week, but regardless of what happens, that was an appalling result. There was a chance to put a gap between us and a few other teams and it was simply never taken. Ken Anderson wanted 20,000 people, or how many it was he wanted, and for people to pay £30 to watch it. He would watched on there and hopefully realised how out of touch his comments were. Anyway, at least we got to Gary Madine try to take a Ronaldo-esque free kick, not once, but twice.

To be honest, I could try and go on and offer some sort of comment and analysis, but it`s tricky to string out “We were (insert expletive here) and bottled it really” Into a few hundred words.
