Former Celtic and Aston Villa man Barry Bannan has joined Bolton on loan from Crystal Palace with Celtic man Filip Twardzik also secured before the transfer deadline.
Bannan had taken to social media earlier in the day to say that he was coming to the Macron, but it wasn’t until late in the day that we officially announced his arrival from Crystal Palace in a loan deal until the end of the season.
A deal that was completed even later was one that saw Neil Lennon reunited with his former Celtic midfielder Twardzik, who has signed for us on a permanent basis for that all too familiar ‘undisclosed fee’ – he’s signed a two-and-a-half year contract.
