Bolton dug in yesterday to earn a hard-earned point at Norwich.

In the first half however, the Canaries could have been out of sight as they somehow managed to fail to score. James Maddison, unsurprisingly the best player on the park, managed to hit the woodwork and also was denied by Ben Alnwick, who would go on to continue his recent fine form, while Moritz Leitner side-footed a shot when he was one-on-one with Alnwick.

Wanderers` only real chance came from Sammy Ameobi, which was followed up by the returning Darren Pratley having a go, but his effort was blocked.

While still failing to register a shot on target all day, Bolton were much better in the second half, changing the shape to keep the Canaries much quieter. Wanderers struggled to get forward all day though, probably saying it all when the best chance of us getting forward was through the overlapping runs of Antonee Robinson.

Not being able to beat Bolton all seemed a bit too much for Norwich boss and pound-shop David Wagner, Daniel Farke, who was sent to the stands in added time.

It wasn`t the best game for any neutrals watching, but is a very good point for us, and maintains our four-point buffer over the drop zone.
