The Scandinavian tour kicked-off for Bolton with a first pre-season friendly on Thursday, this came against Brondby in a game that was drawn 1-1.

Dougie Freedman named two sides in either half with summer signings Dean Moxey, Liam Feeney, Dorian Dervite, Neil Danns and Ross Fitzsimons featuring for Wanderers for the first time since arriving, all as free agents.

Bolton came up against a familiar face, record signing Johan Elmander and it was he that put Brondby ahead, would you have expected anything less?

Jermaine Beckford had the chance to draw Wanderers level before the break but his penalty was missed before Craig Davies made no mistake with his in the second half to earn a draw.

Young winger Rob Hall was shown a straight red card in the last minute.

Are you happy with this result, and performance what you know of it?

Bolton: Lonergan (Fitzsimons 71), Threlkeld (Riley 46), Mills (Ream 46), Bolger (Dervite 46), Moxey (Baptiste 46), Medo (Danns 46), Vela (Spearing 46), Feeney (Hall 46), M Davies (Pratley 46), Iliev (Trialist 46), Beckford (C Davies 46)

Mr Ecky sends his best to the Vital Bolton community, he’s currently not well, he’ll be back as soon as possible and in the meantime, he’s got a staff writer to fill in for him.

If anyone has something to share in the meantime (this gives a genuine Bolton point of view from a Bolton fan!) feel free to fire an email through.

Please include your username so I can put that to it though.
