Bolton play their first game away from home this season tomorrow when they travel down to Colchester.
Things havenโt gone well so far, with three defeats in three different competitions, but will a weekโs worth of work on the training pitch lead to an improved display and result against a side who should represent a good barometer of where we want to be.

Team news
There are a few new injury concerns about, but Ian Evatt has kept tight lipped on those. Colchester have no injury concerns, which is alright for some.
Previously
We have only met Colchester when weโve been both in the bottom tier โ back in the 1987-88 season we lost 3-0 at Layer Road, before winning 4-0 at Burnden Park. Of course, both clubs have moved onto new homes since then โ tomorrowโs match will be played at the JobServe Community Stadium.
The opposition
Colchester are among those who should be looking at promotion โ they werenโt too far away last term but lost to Exeter in a play-off semi-final. Their season hasnโt taken off yet though, like us they lost both their cup games so far, but did manage a point at Bradford on the opening weekend of the league.
Prediction
Could be a tough one if we donโt improve. On paper this is our toughest game so far, away to a team who Iโd expect to be there or therabouts come May. 2-0 to Colchester.
