Neil Lennon, as any new boss would, will be keen to bring in his own players following his appointment at Bolton. Several names have cropped up, some more likely than others.

One of those, and perhaps a more realistic one, is Barry Bannan?

The Crystal Palace midfielder has struggled for regular first-team football at Selhurst Park with the midfielder very much on the fringes of Neil Warnock’s squad, as he was Tony Pulis before him, managing just the one league appearance this season.

The 24-year-old has been linked with several championship clubs but the Bolton News claims that we’re one of them with a priority of Lennon’s to be the signing of a left sided midfielder, meaning the Scottish international fits the bill perfectly.

Rumour has it though Lennon would have to ‘be patient’ and with that loan signing wanted before the emergency loan window closes at the end of next month he might have to look elsewhere as Palace are thought to want to wait until January before possibly allowing his loan exit….

Nicky Crompton is in the process of moving, so t’internet access is limited for now, so again a staff writer is helping to fill in!

So, sorry guys you will have my ramblings again for a small while….
