Bolton have once again been linked with the spectacularly gormless looking Crystal Palace midfielder Ben Watson. Watson is one of a group of players who are linked with the Whites on an annual basis. Of the others Nikola Zigic was mentioned last week and Igor Tudor, now of Hajduk Split, will probably find his way onto the radar within the next fortnight.
The rumour mongs reckon that Palace have turned down a bid of £1.25 million from Queens Park Rangers.
