Alex Baptise, recently making the news of course for his arrest after defending his wife’s honour (having seen some bloke pinch her posterior!), has been sent out on loan for the season.
The 28-year-old had been linked with an exit this summer with Blackburn Rovers among the championship sides thought to be in the running for the versatile defenders services with Wanderers’ rivals snapping him up.
Baptise had joined Bolton last summer on a free transfer from Blackpool, where he had spent the previous five-years, but he’ll now spend the 2014/15 season at Ewood Park he isn’t going to feature when Blackburn come to the Macron Stadium or Bolton head to Ewood Park mind.
A departure isn’t really a surprise is it, or is it?
