Bolton have signed the free agent Filipe Morais after the Portuguese midfielder was released by Bradford toward the end of the transfer window.

The 31 year old has spent his entire career in the UK, starting in the youth system at Chelsea before playing for a number of clubs in England and Scotland.

Phil Parkinson has signed him before, bringing him to Bradford and now to the Macron, where he has a deal until the end of the season.

He also adds another body out wide, which is an area we were already lacking in before Zach Clough moved on.

Under the terms of the embargo, we’re entitled to make one more signing, until the free agent deadline in March.
