Bizarrely both Nottingham Forest and Leeds United earlier this week official confirmed that Lee Peltier had move to the City Ground from Elland Road.

With Neil Warnock not becoming the new Forest boss in the end this deal did not go through and he remained a Leeds player, however this isn’t likely to be the case for the defender come the 5pm transfer deadline on Thursday.

Dougie Freedman has confirmed reports that he is interested in bringing the 27-year-old to the Reebok Stadium and his signing until the end of the season should be finalised on Thursday.

Alan Hutton’s final game of his loan spell from Aston Villa is due to be this weekend against Wigan Athletic, a loan extension for the Scottish international isn’t being ruled out though either.

Mr Ecky sends his best to the Vital Bolton community, he’s currently not well, he’ll be back as soon as possible and in the meantime, he’s got a staff writer to fill in for him.

If anyone has something to share in the meantime (this gives a genuine Bolton point of view from a Bolton fan!) feel free to fire an email through.

Please include your username so I can put that to it though.
