Bolton v Bristol City: What’s Your Verdict?

|

Bolton got a draw at the weekend but were at one point 2-0 up against Bristol City. After Josh Magennis doubled our lead, we looked on for a points haul after two games that only the most positive of Wanderers fans would have imagined.

The first half we were in the game, but only just. Having said that, despite Bristol City being well ahead in the possession and attempts stakes, they managed to be little better than us, and we level at the break.

In the second half the starting front three of Craig Noone, Will Buckley, and Josh Magennis were all strong, the former it turned out had been ill during the week, but still got the nod to replace Sammy Ameobi, while the other two made the scoresheet. David Wheater was good at the back and also was in there for the first goal, although some of the defending as a whole at times was suspect, no more so than on our second goal, regardless of whether there was a foul.

How did you rate the players though? Well, you can tell us, using the new toy below. Fill your boots…
