Bolton v Reading (Team News)

A run of three successive defeats, and a poor run of defensive form for a while, was ended with the cleansheet and win against Brighton on Saturday. We’ll be looking for the same against Reading at the Macron on Tuesday, if possible!

With Andy Lonergan (concussion) absent again the decision has been made to extend the loan spell of Man United ‘keeper Ben Amos so he’ll keep his place in goal.

Liam Feeney (knee) and Kevin McNaughton (hamstring) both need fitness test, if fit then Feeney is by far the more likely to be in the squad let alone starting XI you would think.

Reading could bring Yakubu back into the starting XI and having returned, without reaction after a month out, Chris Gunter (ankle) should keep his place.

The only win that Reading have managed against us since a win in 2007 is one we’ll want to forget, a seven-one thrashing at the Madjeski last January!
