Evening all, and thanks to Dan for the article yesterday. Today we face another East Midlands team, one sitting 5 points above us and 9th in the table. Derby is one of those clubs that I know very little about in the Championship. The last time we were in the same league as them was 07-08; a disastrous year for us, but even more so for them. To say I haven`t followed their fortunes since is somewhat of an understatement; I know very little of the squad that Clough Jnr has assembled. I also missed the game early on in the season as I was very, very ill, so have little to base my opinion of them on. However, every game is this league so far has been a struggle, and I expect the same tonight at Pride Park.

Vital Quotes:

Douglas is positive. He told the club website: “It will be a tough game on Tuesday night because Derby are very good at home. They play with a high tempo and they make sure they get crosses in the box. The way we have been playing, especially away from home, our character is building especially after Saturday and Derby have a few weaknesses which I think our players can exploit. I can see a very close game but I can definitely see goals on Tuesday night.

Derby Team News:

Several Derby players are out. Do I recognise their names? No.

Player to watch: Conor Sammon

I`ve heard of this one! Signed from Wigan in the summer if I`m not wrong. He`s a good forward, and will cause our defence problems. Whenever I`ve seen him play, he gets booked or sent off. Not sure if he`s managed to get out of his game yet.

Bolton Wanderers Team News:

Some big names should be returning to the first team after they weren`t included in the reserve fixture yesterday. Does this mean?..

Player to watch: STU-SA!!!!!

I hope so! We all know what he can do against Premier League midfields, so imagine what he`ll do to a midtable Championship side, even if he isn`t 100%. Exciting.

Match Facts & Stats

We haven`t won there in our last eight. We haven`t won away in our last seven. Will tonight be the night to change that?

Match Prediction:

I`ve got a feeling. I shouldn`t do but I have. 1-0 Wanderers.

Next Fixtures:

Two home games; Hull on Saturday, shortly followed by Peterborough on Tuesday.
