Bolton Win An Away Game

Bolton Wanderers have won an away game. Just let that sink in.

In between those two away wins, we’ve had three managers, two Prime Ministers, voted to leave the EU, and about 60 celebrities have all snuffed it.

The truth though, is that Bolton were far from perfect, and predictably the diamond Phil Parkinson went for resulted in a lack of width.

It took just over 15 minutes to go behind when Andy Barcham struck to put the Dons a goal up. There were appeals from the travelling fans for offside, but whether or not we were right the goal was given.

Gary Madine struck before half time to level things, then with 20 minutes to go Liam Trotter got forward at the back post as Madine turned creator.

A deserved win, if there are things we could work on. Bolton are second in the league now, a position we haven’t been as high as since 2011. A good start to the season. Now we need to keep this up.
