A poem expressing my gratitude to departing defender, Tim Ream
Replacing Cahill would be no easy task,
In fact it may have been too much to ask,
But Tim admirably put in his shift,
And gave all the Bolton fans a mighty lift.
Never one keen on hitting the headlines,
Week-in-week-out Tim Ream would always shine.
He`s been with the club through ups and through downs,
Often having to play alongside some clowns.
An ever-present, a rock at the back,
During his time two managers sacked,
But Ream would always hold onto his place
And also played left back because of his pace.
Though your transfer fee does remain undisclosed,
As Gartside continues to strive to make foes,
We will miss you as you are London bound;
We`ve also worked out the transfer fee- Gartside you clown!
Player of the season awards to his name,
While he may never receive the fame,
Of a player who always gave his all.
Tim Ream I`ll miss watching you kick a ball.
