BWFC: Have No Fear

What seemed to be a positional weakness, now looks like one of our strengths

That was good wasn`t it? Bolton Wanderers, away from home, scoring 3 goals, conceding just the 1 and shutting-up-shop. I just wish it was a league game. Still, I`ll definitely take it, definitely. I mean, remember the equivalent start to the season this time last year? Away at Burnley, then Crawley in the cup? Geez?

One thing we definitely did find out was, if our starting wingers or wide-men get hurt this season- or just need a rest- it would seem, have no fear.
Young wingers, Rob Hall and Sanmi Odelusi were thrown starting jerseys on the coach ride to Shropshire and grabbed their chance with both hands. Not only did they provide the performances of the match they also scored the goals. Hall curled a beauty for the first before turning provider for Odelusi who knocked in the Whites` second and deciding goal. Sanmi grabbed his second and Wanderers` third with a rasping shot into the top corner.

That was it. No flurry from Shrewsbury at the end, no conceded late goals and no self destruction putting us under unnecessary pressure.

3-1 to the Whites.

So, who do you want in the 2nd round? Or is your mind already on Saturday`s visit of Reading?

Me too.
