Let’s try this one again

I’ve written this report before. So I’ve gone back through the archives- not too far back, obviously- to cut-and-paste the original, with a few tweaks…

Reports from the Reebok have confirmed, Cardiff City`s young striker, Joe Mason has agreed to a loan move with Bolton Wanderers.

Initially, in the first agreement- ended after 24 hours- it was unclear how long the loan deal would last for. This new deal, however, has a 5th January end-date.

The agreement is great news for both Wanderers and Mason alike? I think.

Dougie Freedman obviously has a good relationship with Cardiff`s Malky Mackay, having already borrowed Kevin McNaughton from the Welsh club.

Mason, the young Rep. of Ireland front-man, began his career at Plymouth Argyle, where he scored ten goals in just over fifty appearances. His move to Cardiff City in July 2011 was for a reported £250,000, where he scored twelve goals in 46 appearances in his first season.

Like a lot of young strikers when success follows their team, chances in Cardiff had become slim? In stepped Mr Freedman.

I know very little about young Joe Mason, but what I do know is: there were 10 teams sniffing around the 22 year-old for his services. If the reputation which precedes the front-man is anywhere near true, we`ve got a little gem on our hands.

For a short time, at least? Oh, and if he plays, of course.
