Davies Plays An Hour Plus

Bolton could soon have Mark Davies back in the first team fold, to boost the midfield options available.

A serious knee injury suffered last season has seen Davies left on the sidelines since, and it wasn’t as if he hadn’t been troubled before this injury in February either!

Before that knee problem he had also suffered a should setback, so all I all he’s been out for close to a year give or take….

Davies turned out for a good hour, slightly more, when he played 65-minutes of a practice match against Rochdale on Wednesday and as you’d expect he was more than happy to be back and is looking to get back into the first team soon.

He told the official website: ‘It’s been a long time coming, but it feels great to be back and involved.

‘I’ve been on the sidelines for near enough a year having done my shoulder prior to getting injured in February, so it’s been really frustrating.

‘Hopefully soon I’ll be back in the thick of it with the boys helping them to pick up results.’

Good news, right?

Mr Ecky sends his best to the Vital Bolton community, he’s currently not well, he’ll be back as soon as possible and in the meantime, he’s got a staff writer to fill in for him.

If anyone has something to share in the meantime (this gives a genuine Bolton point of view from a Bolton fan!) feel free to fire an email through.

Please include your username so I can put that to it though.
