Derby v Bolton – Team News

It’s an away fixture for us this time round as Bolton look to get back to winning ways and keep alive an unlikely, yet possible, play-off bid….

Neil Lennon took us to Anfield as we narrowly lost to Liverpool in the FA Cup in midweek, on Saturday we’re off to the iPro Stadium, back on Championship duty, to take on title chasing Derby.

Derby should have Jake Buxton (ankle) available with deadline day loanees Tom Ince and Jesse Lingard also in contention. Raul Albentosa (slight hamstring strain) will also return but George Thorne (knee) misses out.

Lennon had to do without Adam Le Fondre (ineligible) but he’s back after the Cardiff loanee had to sit out our FA Cup exit in midweek.

Also in contention, after deadline day arrivals, are Barry Bannan, Filip Twardzik and Simeon Slavchev but Man United loanee Saidy Janko (ankle) is still a week, at least, from fitness.

Craig Davie, Emile Heskey and Adam Bogdan are all out but making good progress.

Derby beat us two-nil at the Macron, which is something of a rarity for them on our home soil – we’ll look to repay the compliment!
