Doug Ourselves Into A Hole

Before I start, I’d like to express how proud I am of finding this photo of Dougie from the Vital Crystal Palace library.

Many have been calling for the dismissal of manager Dougie Freedman. His team is in a terrible state. Last night I said that I was 85% sure that he’d be sacked today. However, this might not be the case.

It is reported that he has met with the chairman, Phil Gartside- another whom many Bolton fans want to see sacked.

From what I’ve heard, I don’t know how true this is, there is definitely a sense of concern among the board and feel that there clearly is something wrong. Most Bolton fans have felt this way for a very long time. They feel that under his stewardship, and at this rate, the club may find itself in League 1 next season.

This is most certainly the least secure Dougie Freedman’s job has been at Bolton, since joining in October 2012.

However, he looks set to stay on for the Bournemouth match.

Sorry this has been a much shorter post than normal, I obviously can’t claim to know all the ins and outs of the proceedings. Everything I’ve said here is what I’ve heard and read.

There will be player ratings from the Fulham match coming out later though.
