Eagles Issues

Chris Eagles has been quite vocal this week as he speaks out at being ‘frustrated by certain aspects’ of his summer exit from Bolton.

The winger left Bolton ‘under a cloud’, finally bringing to end his time with the club that had been set to end for many months, this officially did come to an end this week when his contract expired.

Eagles wouldn’t go into too much detail on what grievances he has but he insists that he ‘loves the club’ and feels that ‘everyone knows this’, if they don’t they he feels they shouldn’t.

What are his frustrations? The 28-year-old says that he will reveal more when ‘his career is sorted’, with him close to finding a new club.

Eagles told the Bolton News: ‘Everyone knows what I feel for Bolton, I do love the club. No matter what has gone on, that hasn’t changed, even if I don`t play for them anymore.

‘I have loved it at Bolton. What has happened, has happened. When my career is sorted I will have my say. Until then, I don’t want to go into detail.

‘I love the fans, I love the club and I always will – I wouldn’t want anyone to doubt that.’

He isn’t letting on too much as to where his next move will be at this stage but links to Derby County and Cardiff City have done the rounds, who both are both managed by people that he has either previously played with or played under as a coach.

Do you feel that Eagles was unfairly treated and has a right to have any grievances?

Mr Ecky sends his best to the Vital Bolton community, he’s currently not well, he’ll be back as soon as possible and in the meantime, he’s got a staff writer to fill in for him.

If anyone has something to share in the meantime (this gives a genuine Bolton point of view from a Bolton fan!) feel free to fire an email through.

Please include your username so I can put that to it though.
