I interview Bolton Wanderers starlet, Andy Kellett
Q: How have you been enjoying playing at Plymouth?
A: It’s been really good mate! All the lads are class and I’ve been doing alright here! [The] only bad thing is being away from family and friends.
Q: You’ve played as both a winger and as a fullback, which position do you feel more comfortable in?
A: I feel more comfortable at fullback but I prefer playing as a winger as I like to get forward more.
Q: Many are excited at the prospect of you playing regular first team football at Bolton? When do you think you’ll be ready?
A: Obviously I’ve been out of football for a few months before I’d come to Plymouth so hopefully when I’m a bit… fitter and sharper then I’ll be fighting for a place
Q: Who’s your best friend at Bolton?
A: I’d say Josh [Vela] or Ozzy [Oscar Threlkeld]
Q: What kind of impact had Neil Lennon made at the club?
A: I was only there for a couple of days before I was sent out on loan but what I have seen is massive in how he’s motivated and given confidence to a side that was strugglig and someone that has passion and wants to achieve is always vital as a manager
Q: Is there a player whom you look up to as a role model?
A: Always looked up to Jordi Alba if I’m honest I know he’s not at Bolton, but he’s always been a role model
Thanks very much to Andy for his time. He’s currently thriving on loan at Plymouth Argyle and I’m very excited for his future.
