How would you like to ‘Live The Dream’ at The Macron Stadium and take part in a truly memorable 90 minute match on the hallowed turf?

Well now’s your chance as Bolton Wanderers have once again joined forces with Football Aid – www.footballaid.com – (who are celebrating 15 years organising charity matches all over the UK!) to provide fans with the unique opportunity to create their very own piece of club history by playing at The Macron Stadium on Tuesday 10th May (kick-off 6pm), while raising valuable funds for charity at the same time.

Football Aid offers Trotters fans the unrivalled opportunity to experience a matchday in the same way the likes of Ben Amos, Mark Davies, Dean Moxey and co do every other week. As a player you’ll get the chance to pull on your very own exclusive personalised Bolton Wanderers replica shirt in the official changing rooms, experience the thrill of walking down the tunnel to the sound of a cheering crowd and step out onto the hallowed turf proudly sporting your official playing kit and represent The Trotters in a never to be forgotten 90 minutes of football!

To add to that, the matches at The Macron Stadium have also been supported by a host of fantastic Bolton legends in recent years, with the likes of Tony Kelly, John McGinlay, Mike Whitlow, Gavin McCann (and many more) all lending their extra special support by playing alongside or managing the fans on their big day.

Positions are available for Bidding from just £115 and securing a position couldn’t be easier, just visit www.footballaid.com and choose the Bolton Wanderers game and then you’ll have two options: Option 1: Bid to Play – Enter your Maximum Bid and if you’re the highest bidder when the position closes you’ll win your place on your Field of Dreams, or Option 2: Buy Now – Close the auction early and secure your place with a one off payment online. Positions close at regular intervals throughout the bidding period, with the 1st positions closing on Tue 9th Feb and the final positions closing on Wed 9th March.

Trotters fan Mark Done took part in 2015 and told Football Aid all about his experience after the game:

“From the moment we arrived we were made to feel like true professional players and it was an experience that has to be tried. To follow in the footsteps of professional footballers is something that many won’t experience, but if you`re lucky enough to do it then you`re in no better hands than that of Football Aid.

“The setup was just amazing, pre match massage and the sight of walking into the changing room with your kit hanging up with your name on was absolutely spine tingling. Pre-match tactics and drills on the pitch, final words of encouragement from the gaffer waiting for the bell to ring to acknowledge the teams to walk down the tunnel and to then walk out onto the pitch was just filled with stuff from dreams. If you have the urge to fulfil a boyhood fantasy like me, there is no better place and no better charity foundation to do it with and you will leave on the day with memories to cherish forever!!”
