Good Riddance to Bad Rubbish

Football referee Barry Knight has been forced to retire from the game because of injury. This is sad news, but only because it didn`t happen earlier.

Knight was in charge of the play off semi-final between Ipswich and Bolton in 2000. He gave the tractors boys three penalties, booked ten Bolton players and sent two of them off. Sam Allardyce was censured for suggesting that the buffoon in black might be a tad biased.

We would like to wish Mr Knight a thoroughly miserable retirement and extreme unhappiness for the rest of his life. A bit of excruciating pain wouldn`t go amiss either.
