Bolton suffered defeat for the first time in pre-season after a 3-1 defeat at Guiseley. On a poor night for Wanderers, Connor Hall scored our only goal, while the National League North side struck three times thanks to Alex Purver, Curtis Morrison, and a Reece Thompson penalty.
Ben Williams, in his mid-30s and having last played for Blackpool, played in goal for us while recent trialist Sam Walker appears to have signed for Reading, which is starting to leave us desperate for another goalkeeper.
