While ‘Superagent’ keeps Bolton Twitter wrapped around his finger having done the emoji spiel this morning, then the club go on not actually announce a signing yet, let’s look ahead to Bolton’s penultimate game of pre-season. Unbeaten so far, we’re off to West Yorkshire to play National League North side Guiseley.
Again, there’ll likely be a lot of rotation, with a mixture of first-team players, trialists and development squad players, although I would imagine the Saturday lineup at Peterborough would be the one to look at if we’re to see what we’ll look like at West Brom (although it largely picks itself at the moment).
Guiseley have two games this week, as Leeds send a team to Nethermoor on Thursday, and their assistant manager has confirmed to their official site that their players will all play somewhere between 45 and 60 minutes. I’d expect a bit more from our players, who will be playing in the new away kit for the first time.
Wanderers will also be hoping for third successive clean sheet, having kept out Morecambe and Girona in their last couple of games.
If you’re planning to go, you can pay on the gate, £10 for adults, £1 for under 11s, and a fiver for all other concessions.
