Helguson to Forest? Yes Please

Operation Deadwood is in full swing at the Reebok with Daniel Braaten, Abdoulaye Meite and now Heidar Helguson all heading for the exit door. This time Nottingham Forest are to be the lucky recipients for a fee said to be £1.5 million. This is good business – for Bolton. Helguson arrived from Fulham before the start of last season for a fee in the region of £2 million, with half of that dependent on appearances. Obviously, the second chunk of money is still in the BWFC bank account.

Bolton are keen to offload Helguson because he isn`t that good and is always injured. To put that latter statement into perspective, he has played exactly the same number of games for the Wanderers as Quinton Fortune. Yes, it`s that bad. On the plus side, like Christian Wilhelmsson, he has an exceptional wife. Maybe Sammy Lee liked a bit of eye candy around the place

Nottingham is associated with one legend, Robin Hood (or two if you count Brian Clough). They could really do with King Arthur, at least they`d have Merlin around to keep Heidar Helguson in good shape. No one else stands much chance. On your way Heidar.
