Holden Injured Again!

Stuart Holden’s latest Bolton comeback ended after just 23-minutes of play tonight.

Holden’s latest knee injury, a cruciate knee ligament injury collected on international duty with America last July, had kept him out until tonight’s U21 game against Everton but after initially looking like he had run off a niggle he was forced off after stretching for a ball.

The 28-year-old was then taken off to be replaced by Luke Woodland.

Bolton have reacted quickly on Twitter with some positive news: ‘For those asking, Holden was able to run off unaided down the tunnel. Update as and when we have it.’

Holden’s been plagued by injuries since first breaking his leg four-years ago with him constantly looking to battle back from injury, however often suffering setbacks.

Fingers crossed this isn’t too serious and his coming off was more a precaution.

Mr Ecky sends his best to the Vital Bolton community, he’s currently not well, he’ll be back as soon as possible and in the meantime, he’s got a staff writer to fill in for him.

If anyone has something to share in the meantime (this gives a genuine Bolton point of view from a Bolton fan!) feel free to fire an email through.

Please include your username so I can put that to it though.
