Holden Return Confirmed

Stuart Holden was always expected to return to Bolton this summer and given the opportunity to resurrect his career, this has now been officially confirmed.

Holden is now out of contract as his contract expired earlier this week but a return on ‘non-contract terms’ was likely with this pretty much confirmed now that the club have said that he will ‘continue his fitness work and return to Bolton when at the necessary stage.’

When the American international will be ready to play a part again for the club, or at least attempt his latest comeback, isn’t yet known but when he ‘reaches the end stage of his current rehabilitation process’ it was confirmed that he will be able to feature in ‘any friendly, under-21 or development squad games.’

Everyone will be hoping that the former Player of the Year can finally make a successful return from his long-term knee issues.

Do you think he will?

Mr Ecky sends his best to the Vital Bolton community, he’s currently not well, he’ll be back as soon as possible and in the meantime, he’s got a staff writer to fill in for him.

If anyone has something to share in the meantime (this gives a genuine Bolton point of view from a Bolton fan!) feel free to fire an email through.

Please include your username so I can put that to it though.
