Bolton have brought in defender Alan Hutton on loan from Aston Villa.

Scottish international Hutton joins Bolton on an emergency loan deal until the end of March, with this his third loan since last representing Villa in May 2012 – he spent a month with Nottingham Forest last season before ending the season with Spanish outfit Real Mallorca on loan too.

This season Hutton hasn’t played a single minute of first-team football, other than on the international stage.

Despite being under contract at Villa Park until the end of next season it’s been made clear that the 29-year-old, earning a reported £40,000 per week, isn’t likely to play for the premier league outfit again due to financial constraints.

You can rest assured that any contribution towards these wages that Bolton are making will be minimum mind?

The fullback could come in for his debut against Blackburn Rovers this weekend.

Mr Ecky sends his best to the Vital Bolton community, he’s currently not well, he’ll be back as soon as possible and in the meantime, he’s got a staff writer to fill in for him.

If anyone has something to share in the meantime (this gives a genuine Bolton point of view from a Bolton fan!) feel free to fire an email through.

Please include your username so I can put that to it though.
