With just three games gone, including a calamitous League Cup defeat to Northampton Town, Wanderers manager Gary Megson is already in defensive mode. Speaking to the offal site he was quick to remind listeners of Bolton`s plight when he joined the club.
‘Nine, ten months ago, when I came here, we were bottom of the table with five points out of ten games,` he explained helpfully, for those who managed to miss the 942 times he mentioned this last season.
This is all very worrying and it seems to demonstrate that the ginger one is every bit as worried as Bolton fans. Either that, or he`s a badly programmed cyborg who has no choice but to mention this every time he opens his mouth. Is Gary Megson only partly human? It would certainly explain a few things.
