As the summer is in full swing now, there seems to be very little noise coming out of the club when it comes to, just about anything really.

There doesn’t necessarily need to be. Often the summer window starts slowly before deals start a domino effect and allow others to get done. It’s a touch surprising however that our retained list has yet to be released. Holidays will have played a part, and we have had the drip feed of players released and youngsters who have announced they are moving on. But there’s still confirmation whether the likes of Darren Pratley, Aaron Wilbraham, and Karl Henry will be staying.

Ken Anderson’s columns have even slowed down, which hopefully would point at him being busy with investment talks. While it seems to be the case more money will be available in terms of a wage bill this summer, whatever happens, all the transfer links still point to the possibility that a transfer fee will still not be paid.

There is still plenty of time though, regardless of the window shutting early. Last summer, Mark Little was the first ‘new’ signing, and his was announced in mid-June. So while we’d hopefully know this week who is moving on and what we need to do (and it seems a lot), it’s probably a couple of weeks before we should start to worry about a lack of activity.

  • Not expecting anything, only same bits of rubbish, then we want Parky to turn them into world beaters.

  • Stop your moaning it only early dones it matter what players we get or who stop phil parky best manager we done thank ken keeping on fan moan if we win a game or lose they need grow up it only kicking bal in net bolton stop up again

  • We need investment and a manager who gets the team playing in the oppositions half not one whose first line of defense is our penalty area
Footballs simple keep the ball and when you lose it get it back straight away don’t turn round and run back
Unfortunately PP has a negative attitude and the players have had their ability drained out of the look at Josh Vela

  • ???????? We had a succession of managers that had no clue and took the club further and further down the pan and they had alot more to play with than PP not only did he get us promoted in the first time of asking from L1 he then keeps us in the Championship. So how can all these moaners say hes done nothing.

I for one wanna see what PP can do when hes got the funds and ill be backing PP to have us moving up the league this season looking at a midd table finish. Which is another improvement ROME wasn’t built in a day…Get behind the team and the manager Just because the football we have played isnt pretty tippy tappy football we are making moves in the right direction and no matter the football we are playing if its improving our position as a footbalk club ill take it.
