Stories linking Fulham midfielder Jimmy Bullard to Bolton continue to surface. The gossip is understandable. Gary Megson has revealed that there are two offers on the table for players, without giving a hint as to who they are. But Bullard being one of them seems unlikely.

There has been a pattern to Gary Megson`s permanent signings since January. They are young, athletic and usually English. Paying around £4 million for a thirty year old with a dodgy knee doesn`t tie in. Sorry Jimbo, you`ll have to stay with Fulham. Good luck with those contract negotiations.
