Bolton`s Kevin Davies has been charged with improper conduct by the FA due to remarks he made about referee Mark Clattenburg after the game against Fulham. Davies had a late goal disallowed after he was adjudged to have pushed Brede Hangeland in the back.

‘When I saw who was the referee I didn’t expect to get anything off him,` said Davies. ‘Over the years I have never got much from him.`

‘Numerous bookings over the years – I don’t know, I have always felt there is something personal there. Every time he referees us, I don’t expect to get anything.`

Davies has until 12th March to respond to the charge.

  • Clattenburg should be charged with incompetence. How important could that disallowed goal, and its importance in that game, be to us at the end of the season.

  • I am sure Clattenburg wears his I hate Bolton t-shirt under his black top. I do not think he is a bad ref I just think he is baised against Bolton and he is allowed to show it time and time again.

  • Clattenburg has to be the centre of attention at every game he is involved in, he is a self publicist who will be loving seeing his name in print, what KD said is what everyone knows Clattenburg is a one eyed double dyed t*****er
