Lee Chung-Yong, as good as he is, is probably one of those that a decent number of Bolton fans would be willing to see sacrificed this summer isn’t he?

Hull City apparently showed an interest in the winger in January, this didn’t happen but Sunday reports claimed that interest was being ‘renewed’ and this could see him heading back to the premier league after the world cup?

A successful world cup in Brazil with South Korea would enhance the chances of the 25-year-old moving on, which if a 6m fee was involved too then it’s a case of ‘biting their arm off’ isn’t it…

It might not only be Hull interested either, Sunderland are also being mentioned.

Mr Ecky sends his best to the Vital Bolton community, he’s currently not well, he’ll be back as soon as possible and in the meantime, he’s got a staff writer to fill in for him.

If anyone has something to share in the meantime (this gives a genuine Bolton point of view from a Bolton fan!) feel free to fire an email through.

Please include your username so I can put that to it though.

  • Bolton News saying there have been no offers and that we want to keep him, nice smokescreen, he is out of contract in a year, we wont renew unless he takes a huge drop and we are desperate for the cash…just make it look like we dont want to sell, hope he has a storming WC, sell him for a decent sum, we get Juke, poss Mason and a replacement winger, everyone is happy!
