Tomorrow night Wanderers fans will either delighted, or there’ll be a meltdown. There may not be an in-between.

On Sunday, it had emerged we had signed a player which would be announced today. and it was, Chris Long, signed on loan from Burnley. He had spent the first half of the season with Fleetwood, but only scored four goals in 18 league appearances as he was subject to being rotated in and out of the squad.

It’s a goalscoring ratio that quite frankly doesn’t fill me with confidence, but he (apparently) adds pace to the frontline, and there is no way on earth he could offer less than Jamie Proctor has.

What else can we expect tomorrow then? There will have to be departures if we are to see arrivals. Proctor has been linked with Bradford, Portsmouth and others, while Chris Taylor was lined up with a loan move away.

We can’t also pen this piece without mentioning Adam Le Fondre. I honestly don’t know whether he’ll sign or not, although he would be a boost, both in morale amongst the fanbase, and in footballing terms.

Let’s see what tomorrow brings, and we’ll have articles throughout the day on here, and news and rubbish gags over at @VitalBolton on Twitter.
