Ahead of our reunion with Dougie Freedman at Forest this weekend, speaking of reunions we could have one with Chris Eagles next month after he signed for Charlton, a date for Mark Davies’ return has been announced.
I say a date I mean more a month as Neil Lennon has told the Official Website that he expects him back in training with the first-team by the end of next month.
His latest setback, in a catalogue of setbacks, has seen him sidelined by a knee injury but as much as he’s not looking to rush him back he would like to think that he will be back before the season ends – the quicker the better, but not with any risks taken….
‘We have Mark pencilled in for a return in March. The quicker we get him back the better, because he’s a terrific player.
‘We’re really looking forward to having him back in our squad, though it is imperative that we don’t rush him.
‘He’s worked really hard during his time out and is looking great. We’re hoping he’s not too far away now.’
