After a couple of draws and clean sheets (yeah, exciting, I know) Bolton look to make it three unbeaten as they travel to Burton Albion tomorrow night. The game was originally scheduled for October but a number of Burton players were called up for international duty which resulted in a postponement.

Team news
Remi Matthews, Jason Lowe and Daryl Murphy are all injury doubts after Saturday’s draw at Wimbledon but Keith Hill was confident today that Matthews would be able to keep his place in goal. Burton will be missing their first choice keeper, as Kieran O’Hara is serving a lengthy ban for biting. Naughty boy.
Stats and facts
Bolton have lost every game they’ve ever played against Burton, the most recent being the 4-3 home defeat on New Year’s Day. Our last trip to the Pirelli Stadium was in April 2018, when Wanderers lost 2-0 and looked set to go down, until Aaron Wilbraham saved us at the Brewers’ expense eight days later. Happier times…
Bolton have two points from the last five games, while Burton have two draws and a win from their last five.
Prediction
Two clean sheets in a row provides a modicum of optimism, but Burton are better than Accrington and Wimbledon and have some sort of annoying curse over us. 1-0 to them.
