New Arrival Not Ruled Out

The emergency loan transfer window closes at the end of this month and Dougie Freedman isn’t ruling out the arrival of a player before the March 30th deadline.

Like any boss Freedman is ‘always having a look’ at other players and if the right person comes up, and can offer what he is looking for, he could bring someone to the Reebok Stadium.

A player or two leaving isn’t being ruled out either.

Freedman told the Bolton News: ‘We’re always having a look but it won’t be just anyone. It has to be a certain type of player, with the right hunger and desire.

‘I’ve never had a phone call about one of my players but I would expect one or two to attract something if they don’t get the right number of games.’

The futures of Chris Eagles and Andy Lonergan are both subject to some rumour and speculation and could be the ‘one or two’ that Freedman is talking about.

Mr Ecky sends his best to the Vital Bolton community, he’s currently not well, he’ll be back as soon as possible and in the meantime, he’s got a staff writer to fill in for him.

If anyone has something to share in the meantime (this gives a genuine Bolton point of view from a Bolton fan!) feel free to fire an email through.

Please include your username so I can put that to it though.
