A Westhoughton couple have given birth to Bolton Wanderers’ next permanent manager

A Westhoughton couple have given birth to Bolton Wanderers’ next permanent manager.

Liam and Becky Bingham gave birth to a healthy baby boy on Friday morning, and bookies have shortened the odds already on son Oscar becoming the next boss at the Macron, hopefully within the next 40 years.

‘Oscar still needs time to develop into a top manager at the moment,’ said the proud father.

‘His communication skills really need to come on. At the moment he just cries a lot, but does seem to make more sense than Neil Lennon did in his last few months in the job, so maybe the step from not being able to go to the toilet to managing Bolton isn’t that big at the moment.’

Sources at the Macron have been impressed with Oscar’s development so far, with his proficiency in feeding. Talks will be held when the baby can start talking, with an appointment probable in 2050.
