Bolton have signed a player, on loan, for three months

Bolton Wanderers have confirmed the signing of a player today… with no prizes for guessing who.

Crystal Palace midfielder, Owen Garvan has signed with the Whites on a three-month loan deal.

The 26-year-old Irishman, who joined Palace from Ipswich Town in 2010, spent the second half of last season on loan at Millwall.

Garvan has scored 11 goals in 88 games for the Eagles during his time at Selhurst Park and the former Under-21 international has gone straight into the Bolton squad ahead of Saturday’s Championship encounter against Sheffield Wednesday.

Is this the player to kick-start our season? So the Whites can ‘turn a corner’?

Honestly, I’ve written the words ‘kick-start our season’ and ‘turn a corner’ so many times in the last 2 years, the keys on my keyboard have groves, like bum-prints on sofas.

Anyway… Garvin… signed… 3 months…

What’s your thoughts?
