Sammy takes readers’ accolade
Sammy Ameobi has rather unsurprisingly taken victory in the October Vital Bolton Player of the Month poll, taking around 70% of the poll.
Ameobi has continued the return from the knee injury which ruled him out of the opening weeks of the campaign, and has managed to score three goals in four games over the course of the month, ending the home and away goal droughts against Sheffield Wednesday and Fulham recently.
David Wheater came second in the poll, while Gary Madine came third and Mark Beevers fourth.
